This is the interior plastic shroud mounted inside the front suspension area to block water, dirt, and road debris from hitting the internal wiring and folding mechanisms.

​Item Material & Function: This is a lightweight plastic splash guard / inner fender liner, not a metal structural component. It is perfect if your original inner shield is cracked, melting, or missing.
