This is an incredibly robust work knife with exceptional action due to the incorporation of the Demko Shark-Lock in a compact, full titanium framelock. This knife features a stonewashed MagnaCut blade with a 3" cutting edge and super sharp Seax Dynamic Grind profile (similar to a wharncliffe with a large top swedge) with dual thumbstuds, slot, and a very slicey factory edge.
The Demko Seax features an exclusive Dynamic Grind which allows it to slice near the choil while simultaneously granting a thicker and sturdier blade point. This blade is specifically engineered to perform as a utility knife as well as for self-defense.
Typically, the bevels on a knife are the same angle from choil to point. For example, the AD20S is about a 5° bevel from choil to point. The Demko Seax rolls from about a 5° bevel at choil to about an 8° bevel at the point. All of this is achieved while maintaining a consistent 18° edge bevel.
The textured titanium handles are very comfortable in hand, with a great bright stonewash finish. Very firm lockup and drop shut action due to the exceptionally smooth bearings and Shark-Mechanism.
