This is a rare full Titanium configuration with a full width MagnaCut blade and full sized Titanium handles. This is an incredibly robust work knife with exceptional action due to the incorporation of the Demko Shark-Lock in a full size AD20 frame, along with the new handle profile with finger grooves. This is the full width version (wider than the AD20S), with blade stock that is 0.18" in thick. This knife features a stonewashed 3.7" stonewashed CPM 3V blade with a clip point profile (with dual thumbstuds and slot) with a very slicey factory edge. The full titanium handles feature a stonewashed finish with the new "Full Grip" shape with finger grooves. There is one area of inconsistent stonewash near the pivot, from the factory. Overall length is 8.7". Very firm lockup and drop shut action due to the exceptionally smooth bearings and Shark-Mechanism.
The Shark-Lock mechanism is situated on the spine of the knife and operated with a ramp-like ‘fin.’ Opening the blade makes the spring-driven lock arm move up and then into a notch in the tang, situating it beneath a lock pin. This range of movement is noteworthy. It’s unique in that the locking mechanism moves forward and back while also moving up and down. This allows for a greater-sized blade tang, making a better mechanical advantage in a specific area. And because the drive spring that moves the locking element up into the locked position is contained within the locking arm itself, it won’t be subject to dirt and grime. This locking system is one of the strongest on the market. Made in the USA.
