Gibson Les Paul Special Junior II Heritage Cherry Sunburst 1993 w/hard case USED
Description
Good Condition! w/hard case
A 1993 Les Paul Special Junior II has arrived.
While it has the look of a Les Paul Special, this model differs from the standard Les Paul Special in its specifications, such as the use of a Tune-O-Matic bridge and P-100 pickups.
The wood materials consist of a solid one-piece mahogany body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard.
While this is a classic Les Paul Special combination, the use of slightly heavier woods produces a tight and sustained sound.
It is equipped with two P-100 pickups. These are stacked humbuckers, which not only reduce noise but also offer a thick, warm sound when clean, and a tight, powerful sound when high-gain. While having the same look as a P-90, these pickups possess different sounds and characteristics.
This instrument is from 1993. The guitar shows signs of heavy use, including dents, buckle marks, scratches, weathering of the paint, a crack in the topcoat on the headstock, and paint peeling on the body top near the 6th string. However, the wear and tear from age and years of use gives it a genuine, aged look that can't be achieved with a purely aged guitar.
Regarding the neck condition, the original nut and frets show almost no wear, with approximately 70-80% remaining. The truss rod also has plenty of adjustment range in the tightening direction, so the neck is in good working order. The original hardshell case is included.
