This is a beautiful H & C Sleib Bavaria Imperial Petite Floral Gravy Boat with Underplate. It was likely manufactured between 1930 and 1940. Produced by the Heinrich & Co. factory in Selb, Germany, this particular style and pattern were commonly retailed in the early-to-mid 20th century. The gravy boat is part of the "Imperial" line, characterized by its Art Deco handle and delicate floral sprigs with gold gilded trim. While the general factory mark was used from approximately 1930 to 1999, the "Imperial" shape and specific floral application are most consistent with the 1930s-1940s period. Preowned in good condition with There no cracks or chips. The gold shows wear in several areas (see photos). There is also a black mark on the underside of the bowl (see photo).
