This is from Dakin’s popular line of animal plush toys in the 1970s, often called “Mother & Baby” or “Huggers.”  It is in excellent vintage condition with the original tag.  It is approximately 9" (l) not including the tail x 8" (w) ear to ear.

The design features:

•  Gray fur with white accents (belly, inner ears)

•  Large rounded ears

•  Black plastic eyes and nose

•  Embroidered smile and claws

•  Baby permanently attached in the mother’s arms (a common “joey in pouch” style, though here it’s held openly)
