◆What is "ULTRA BUFFER"?

The ULTRA BUFFER is a newly developed buffer that improves bypass sound quality and maintains sound quality even when a long shielded cable is used to connect to the tuner or when the tuner is integrated into a complex effects board.

Most electric guitars have a passive pickup with a high impedance output.

If you use a shielded cable, the sound quality (usually in the high frequencies) will degrade after about 5 meters, and the longer the shielded cable, the more it will degrade.

The ULTRA BUFFER prevents signal degradation when using long shielded cables and maintains clean and clear sound even when the pedal is off.

◆Can be switched between true bypass and newly developed ULTRA BUFFER.

As with previous Pitchblack models, the new ULTRA BUFFER is installed, as well as True Bypass, which outputs the original sound without affecting the input sound.

The ULTRA BUFFER provides high quality sound while preventing degradation during bypass, making it possible to maintain sound quality even when the tuner is connected to a long cable or incorporated into a large effect board.

Pitchblack X allows you to switch between True Bypass and ULTRA BUFFER to suit your preferences and environment.

◆High visibility with meter LEDs that can be set in bright mode.

Not only is the display larger, but the number of meter LEDs has been increased for overwhelming visibility.

In addition, the two-step Bright Mode (brightness) setting provides even greater visibility in harsh environments, such as outdoor stages, where sunlight is reflected.

The triangular LEDs on both sides flash when the tuner is in tune, providing a reassuring and comfortable tuning experience.

◆Ultra-high precision tuning that can push up to ±0.1 cents.

Ultra-accurate tuning of ±0.1 cents in strobe mode.

It is also useful in severe situations where small errors cannot be overlooked, such as professional recording or stage work.

◆Four meter display modes.

You can choose from four different meter displays to suit your style.

In addition to the standard "regular mode," there are "strobe mode," "half strobe mode," and "mirror mode," in which two LEDs are tuned so that they overlap from left to right toward the center.

◆Robust battery-powered body

It also works with 9V batteries, so it's perfect for players who don't carry an effector board.
