1940 Press Photo Prince Wilhelm Von Preussen of Germany killed in battle action

This is an original press photo. Prince Wilhelm Von Preussen, eldest son of the former Crown Prince of Germany, has been killed in action it was learned on May 27th. He had renounced his claim to succession to the no non existent throne after a Morganatic marriage and was the first Hohenzollern Prince to enter the army of the Third Reich Photo measures 6 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 5-27-1940.
