*If your housing is broken or cracked in the rear half area, especially where the transfer case bolts up, you need to find the problem such as driveline type vibration, loose transfer case mounting bolts or a mount grounding issue of some kind.     If the problem is not found, you will break it again no matter what housing you install.
*If the transmission is put in to park while the truck is rolling it can crack the housing.
