Up for auction is a rare and charming timepiece from the 1930s-1940s, made by the respected Swiss manufacturer Th. Picard Fils, based in the world-renowned watchmaking center of La Chaux-de-Fonds.
Key Features:
Movement: High-quality Swiss mechanical movement with manual winding. Signed "Th. Picard" on the bridge. Features 15 jewels.
Condition: The watch is in good condition. It starts ticking immediately if you blow on the balance or shake the watch slightly. Please note that as a vintage item (approx. 80-90 years old), it may require professional cleaning/oiling (service) for daily accurate timekeeping.
Dial: Original dial with a beautiful vintage patina, Arabic and Roman numerals, and a sub-second dial at 6 o'clock.
Case: Original case with fixed lugs, showing signs of age and wear which adds to its authentic character.
Crystal: Acrylic crystal with some visible scratches.
