A classic slice of 1970s Doctor Who scoring, The Sun Makers showcases Dudley Simpson at his atmospheric best. Blending tense orchestral cues, quirky melodic motifs and the distinctive rhythmic textures that defined the Tom Baker era, this soundtrack captures the satirical, dystopian tone of the story with precision and character.
This 2023 limited orange vinyl edition presents the complete score newly remastered, offering a vibrant and faithful restoration of Simpson’s original studio recordings. A must‑have release for collectors of vintage Doctor Who music and fans of the programme’s golden age.
