This listing is for a Sharp Auvi MD-DS55 Portable MiniDisc Player in a vibrant pink finish, a highly collectible color from Sharp’s MDLP-era lineup.
The unit has been fully tested and confirmed working. MiniDiscs load properly, playback is smooth, and MDLP playback is supported, allowing extended play formats. Charging functionality has also been confirmed using the included charging stand.
Included in this set are the original Sharp remote control, charging stand, and AC power adapter. Please note that the AC adapter is 100V only, so a voltage converter is required for use outside Japan. Batteries used during testing are not included.
Cosmetically, the player shows light signs of use such as small scratches consistent with normal handling, but overall it remains in very good visual condition. The glossy pink finish still presents beautifully, making it an excellent choice for both collectors and everyday MiniDisc users.
