This is a set of three vintage Stangl Pottery mugs hand-painted with the Fruit pattern, each piece unique. Stangl Pottery dinnerware was made in Trenton, NJ from 1930 to 1978 by a company that grew out of the Fulper Pottery company, best known for its fine Arts and Crafts style art pottery. The name Stangl Pottery referenced Martin Stangl, a ceramic engineer for the business and eventual owner. The name Stangl Pottery was first used in the 1920s but was not officially adopted until 1955. Hand painted decoration on red-ware body. The mugs measure 3 1/4 inch diameter at the top and 4 inches in height. Please see photos and video for condition.
