This is a very nice, clean MFJ-949D HF-Bands (160-10 Meters) "DELUXE VERSA TUNER II" Antenna Tuner from a local Ham Radio Operator's Estate. It covers all HF Amateur Radio bands from 1.8 through 30-MHz, which includes Ham bands, "WARC bands," Shortwave and CB-range frequencies. 

It can handle tuning of coax-fed antennas (dipoles, quads, verticals, yagis, etc.) and the front-panel selector switch allows one of two-different coax-fed antennas to be selected - either of them going through the Tuner ("Tuned") or direct from the Radio to the Antenna ("Direct.") 

The MFJ-949D Tuner has a built-in 4:1 Balun, so it can tune single-wire/random-length antennas, or those that are fed with balanced line (open-wire, ladder-line, etc.) Transmit power handling capability is 300-watts. It has a dual cross-needle front-panel meter, which can display both forward and reverse transmit power simultaneously. 

It has a built-in Dummy Load, and can measure either PEAK or AVERAGE transmit power, when an external rear-panel +12VDC supply (not included) is connected. The +12VDC supply can also illuminate the meter - selectable from the front-panel Red button.

It appears to be in very good physical condition, but it has not been tested, so it is being sold as-is and no returns are accepted. All switches and controls move smoothly. The instruction manual is available for free on-line download, and I've taken pictures of the pages that you can examine for more information.

Shipping charges will be $16.85 to CONUS locations, with careful packing.  Shipping charges are based on other electronic items of similar size and weight that I've recently shipped. 

Shipping is ONLY to a PayPal Confirmed Address. It is the responsibility of the BUYER to make sure the address listed on their account is correct.  Please update your account address before buying, as I cannot send items to a different address than the one provided on your account.  

Local pickup is available, but PayPal cannot be used for payment if you're picking up the item, since PayPal needs proof of shipment to be covered under their rules. I ship within five days of the end of the sale and receipt of payment. 


Any International sales must use eBay's International Shipping Program service, where I ship the units to their forwarding center, and eBay takes care of the necessary customs, etc. paperwork, and then they ship onward to the buyer. No Direct Overseas Sales! No sales to Germany due to their new seller and shipping requirements.

Please understand that once I've dropped off an item to be shipped, I have no further control of when it will actually arrive at your location. Occasionally, the shipping company routes the package through some far, out-of-the-way locations which can greatly delay the shipping time, compared to what eBay quotes for delivery times.
