Frank Holton & Co. Clarke-model cornet, serial 60832, made in Elkhorn, Wisconsin circa 1923–24.
This is a premium-configuration example featuring factory gold-washed interior bell, gold splash engraving, gold valve caps and water keys, and genuine mother-of-pearl valve buttons. The gold has faded gracefully with age but remains clearly present — a significant step above the standard silver-plate Clarke.
The horn has just come back from the shop. Bell dent has been repaired. All slides are free. New valve springs and water key corks installed. Plays well.
