Q: How do I choose a module that requires how much current?
A: Before you choose the module current requirement, you can find out what is the maximum power of your controller. For example, on the label of your controller there is a maximum current of 40A, then you can choose a 40A module. Typically the module current needs to be equal to or greater than the controller's maximum protecting current.
Q: What is a single discharge version:
A: Single discharge means that after two sets of batteries of the same voltage (such as 2x36V or 2x48V) are connected in parallel, the module applies the set with the highest voltage in priority until that battery is about to run out of power, and then it automatically switches to the second set of batteries and then continues to work.
Q: What other features does the single discharge version have?
A: If your controller supports renewable charging and electronic braking functions, then this version can support the reverse charging of electrical energy into the battery, and continue to retain the control system for normal use of this function.
The main component of the module is the field effect tube MOSFET. It will generate heat when used for a long time, and the maximum temperature of 65℃ is normal. Please pay attention to the heat dissipation when installing the module.
