VINTAGE Israeli YAAD Workshop Modernist Hand Hammered Copper Bookends 1950s MCM

This is an AMAZING VINTAGE pair of hand hammered copper bookends from YAAD Workshop in Israel from the 1950s.  The bookends were hand hammered and etched in a medieval pattern of castles and runic symbols.  They have been bent into a shape that perfectly fits under books and holds them in place.  Each features 2 glass cabochons that have been embedded into the copper.  Unfortunately, both have lost their larger cabochon (see photos).  These are SUPER MCM in style and are perfect examples of the work of YAAD workshop.  They are about 6.75 inches high, 4 inches wide and 3.25 inches long.  They are in VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION!  There are no dents, nicks, cracks, major scratches, major rusting or bends.  There is some wear, some minor scratches, a little patina, and both are missing the larger glass cabochon.
