In excellent condition large vintage Italian Florentine triptych Icon depicting a reproduction of "The Adoration of the Christ Child " by Gerard Van Honthorst.
The three sectional folding icon is made of gold gilt wood over gesso and it measures 13 1/2" long X 10 1/4" high when folded.
The middle main section with the painting is just beautiful with depth created to frame inside the painting (print)
There are two hinges on each side and the two smaller panels open and close easily, hiding the painting or icon when folded.
On the back the original stickers with original price are present and this Italian Florentine Icon was sold by Neiman Marcus sometime in the 1960s.
Very unusual and very beautiful for the Italian Florentine Icons lovers.
