ANTIQUE Theodore Haviland Limoges Schleiger 1070 Oval Vegetable Dish 7.75" 1903
This is a BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE porcelain oval vegetable serving dish from Theodore Haviland in Limoges, France, from 1903. The dish is in a BEAUTIFUL floral pattern with roses and a blue, yellow and gold lattice around the rim. The top of the rim is ringed in gold. This pattern was called #1070 by Arlene Schleiger in her 1950s Haviland identification book. It has a red overglaze stamp on the bottom that identifies it as being produced in 1903. It is 7.75 inches long and 4.5 inches wide. It's about 1.75 inches tall. The rim flares out a little and the bottom is flat. It's in EXCELLENT ANTIQUE CONDITION! There are no chips, cracks, scratches, discoloration, stains or repairs. It's LIKE NEW!
