Based on the serial number, this guitar appears to have been manufactured around 1976, exuding the passion and adventurous spirit characteristic of 1970s Japanese-made guitars. While studying overseas styles, it doesn't simply imitate them; it clearly displays the unique character of a Japanese brand from that era.
With specifications resembling an FST-75N class, it's a Stratocaster-style guitar with meticulous attention to wood and construction. The wood grain visible through the natural finish is striking, giving it a simple yet impactful presence that emphasizes the materials.
The body is made of silverheart wood, a material not commonly found in typical Stratocaster-type guitars. This construction promises a fast attack, clear definition, and a solid, resonant tone. Combined with a maple neck and fingerboard, the overall sound is responsive and vibrant. Clean tones are crisp, and overdrive tones maintain definition and project forward.
The 3-bolt neck joint and other 1970s-style details are also appealing, making this a guitar that truly captures the atmosphere of that era. The lever switch has been replaced, and it now features a 5-way selector. In addition to the classic front/center/rear positions, the half-tones are also easy to use, offering a practical combination of vintage looks and functionality.
Weighing 3.75kg, it's easy to handle and offers good maneuverability despite its vintage-like appearance. It has a realistic balance for live performances and everyday use.
The tremolo arm is missing. The neck has a slight back bow, and there is little room to loosen the truss rod, but currently, it functions and plays without problems, maintaining a usable condition.
