The Japanese title is literally "Triforce of the Gods" — Nintendo changed it for Western markets over religious sensitivity concerns, making this NTSC-J version the only release with the original naming intact. Released in November 1991 as one of the earliest SFC titles, this is consistently ranked among the greatest games ever made, and the version that defined the top-down Zelda formula for three decades. Koji Kondo's soundtrack, Mode 7 graphics, and dual-world design were ahead of their time — and still are. 🗡️🛡️✨
