AMT '67 Falcon (Kit # 5127) Builder / Parts Lot in Box
AMT '67 Falcon, original issue 3-in-1 annual customizing kit. Vintage built and disassembled kit / parts lot in box. It is not complete; all that is included is shown in the photos. Body has a bit of glue residue here and there, but it has been mostly smoothed out. The emblems, handles and other details are intact with no sanding on them. The rear valence below the openings for the bumper tabs is damaged. The chassis, engine and interior have been assembled and painted grey. Engine is assembled as one of the race/custom versions. It has its four Weber carbs and a lot of its stock parts loose, but does not look 100% complete. Interior has stock seats, steering wheel and chrome shifter. The custom seats are here unused. Including drag hood, rollbar, and parachute / fairing. The stock hood is not here. The glass looks fairly good in the areas that show when installed, save for a glue mark on one side window. Chrome stock and custom bumpers are all here, but have some dulling. Tail light bezels are here. There is a pair of red tail lights too, but they look smaller than original (I suspect they are probably '65s; they do fit in the bezels and would probably look alright). There are no stock wheels, but there are four of the smaller 5-spoke mags, one of the larger rear 5-spoke mags, and one of the slotted front mags. There are four painted hard plastic drag front tire halves, along with two black rubber Firestone drag slicks (they were not original to this kit - are more like '64-'65 issue slicks). No instructions or decal sheet included. Box is in decent original condition with some general shelfwear / creasing, and a bit of art loss and writing on the cover.
