Truly a dream dress to wear for my rehearsal dinner and welcome party. The construction of this dress is like no other.
The square neckline and corset is so incredibly flattering for your waist. The back is a v-shape with stunning pleating for the skirt. This dress understands and appreciates the female form, I wanted to go vintage for this look because of how high quality and detailed the dress is. For example, the brocade design is hand pressed instead of printed.
Alterations - I shortened the straps of the dress and the hem of the dress. I also added clips inside the straps so you can wear a bra and keep it hidden!
Condition - This dress is from the 1950s. I originally purchased on Etsy where the seller disclosed the coffee stains on the skirt. I’m including photos to highlight them as well but as you see from photos from my event, you can’t tell!
