Inspired by the 16th–17th century European basket-hilt swords, this design shifts the focus from the blade to the protective cage. The layered metal guard, formed by intersecting curves, reflects a structure built to protect the hand where precision was paramount. Rather than exaggerating sharpness, the piece emphasizes architecture, restraint, and control. The extended blade remains minimal, while the red zircon at the tip suggests consequence, decision, and impact. It speaks less of aggression, and more of readiness and discipline.
It stands out without being loud. The cage structure adds depth and complexity, making it visually distinct from typical weapon-inspired jewelry. It carries a sense of control and intention, feeling considered rather than merely decorative. Easy to pair, yet never generic.
Each piece is cast and refined with close attention to structural integrity. The basket guard requires precise shaping to maintain clean lines and proportion at a small scale. Internal reinforcement ensures the thin blade remains straight and stable. Final polishing is done entirely by hand.
Clean gently with a soft cloth after use. Avoid water, sweat, and chemicals to preserve the finish and stone clarity. Store separately to prevent bending or surface wear.
