Up for sale is my 2008 Vauxhall Astra VXR, a well-maintained and mechanically sorted example that drives exactly as it should.

This is a standard, unmodified VXR that has been properly looked after and comes with full service history along with invoices for work completed over the years.

Keywork carried out:

Timing belt kit @82k miles (including belt, tensioner, idler pulleys and water pump)

Full gearbox rebuild @76k miles

Air conditioning and power steering pump replaced @81k miles

Rear shock absorbers replaced @66k miles

Front coil springs replaced @93k miles

Rear brake discs and pads replaced @85k miles. 

More work has been done on the car and have the invoices to go along with it. 

The car also has factory Recaro seats in good condition, could do with a repair to the drivers side in the near future (see pics) and remains completely standard and unmodified.

It drives really well with no unwanted noises, pulls as it should, and feels solid and tight on the road.

Bodywork is generally good for its age with a small dent and some kerb marks on the wheels, both purely cosmetic and consistent with age. All can be seen in pictures 

Overall it’s a very honest, well-sorted VXR with all the major maintenance already done, making it a reliable and usable example that doesn’t need immediate spending.

Mileage can be seen on dashboard and will go up due to daily use. I am only selling the car due to moving abroad otherwise I would keep it.
