Vintage Bitossi Tortoise Turtle Planter Yellow and Black Italy Imported by Goodfriend

From the research I have conducted, this piece is from the 1960's by the designer Aldo Londi. It was imported by Goodfriend Imports. I have 3 total of these planters, but only one has the original department store sticker, but they all have the same item number written on them that the store used.

Closson's was considers a high-end department store Downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. The sticker that is on the one shows the piece was sold for $16.50 back in the 60's (which was a considerable amount of money back then).

I will have all three pieces listed with different auctions so the differences and beauty of each piece can be seen. Two have gloss and one is Satin / Matte. The store orders item in different styles to give the customer options. These items are very rare and cannot be found anywhere else.

Used in Very Good Condition. The only thing that is wrong with this piece is a very small flea bite on the inside rim of the planter. The pictures showed the one chip at two angles. Does not in anyway take away from the beauty of this piece. It is barely seen. See Pictures.
