Pre-Columbian Jalisco Pottery Figure

West Mexico, ca. 100 BC – 250 AD

Striking hollow pottery figure with powerful, broad shoulders and expressive facial features, wearing a cap-like headdress and earspools. Classic Jalisco shaft tomb style, where figures like this were placed in tombs to accompany the deceased—often representing ancestors, warriors, or important community members.

Beautiful surface with scattered mineral deposits and strong ancient patina throughout.
