This is a handmade piece and carved from one solid piece of wood depicting a group/pride of lions.
One lion looks that it is missing a tail, however, I am sure it was meant to be this way as it is a very clean finish. Should the tail have been there then it would have been subjected to damage by sticking out too much
The item does have cracks and some rough areas, but again it is down to the age of the wood.
We are not certain of the age/type of wood, or where it was carved or by who, it could be African, therefore we have added this info.
Estimated to be early 20c and proberly carved somewhere in Africa.
It is a stunning item and I have not see one the same. The pictures do not give it justice.
