Up for sale is a rare, authentic 1930s cast iron "junior" speedboat pull toy. This is a classic two-piece casting featuring an integral driver and embossed "SPEED BOAT" lettering on both sides.

Authenticity & Manufacturer Details:I have thoroughly inspected this piece for collectors:Manufacturer: Consistent with Hubley manufacturing from the pre-WWII era. It features the signature button-head rivet assembly (rounded mushroom head on one side, hammered flat on the other, please see photos.)

Material: This item is 100% magnetic. A magnet sticks firmly to the body, the driver, and all the wheels (Please see photos.) This confirms the piece is entirely cast iron with no lead, white metal, or plastic replacement parts.

Construction: The two halves are original and joined by the original central rivet.

Condition:Paint: Retains a high percentage of its original red paint. It shows an honest, beautiful vintage patina with minor paint loss consistent with age (please see photos).

Structure: No cracks, breaks, or repairs. The tow-hole at the bow is perfectly intact.Function: All wheels are present and rotate freely.
