Mini Cooper S R56 John Cooper Works

Up for sale is my Mini Cooper S John Cooper Works. I have had this car for a year and is being sold as spares as repairs for the following reasons;

When purchased it soon developed a fault with the VANOS sensor and this was replaced along with a new rocker cover and gasket which rectified the error.

However it since developed an oil leak which was suspected to be the VANOS sensor not being seated properly and this was rectified and the car ran as it should.

However after running for around 30 minutes white smoke came out of the exhaust and it started to sound sluggish. 

It was suspected that the head gasket had gone and while running it a few days later with a gasket check kit in the expansion bottle an oil and coolant emulsion has leaked from the bottom of the car.

It has not been ran since this and the dipstick and oil filler cap have the same emulsion on them. As such the engine will need some work to be good again.

The car itself is a genuine Cooper S with the John Cooper Worker kit with all the relevant badges etc and alloys.

It is on coilovers at the front and comes with the rear coilovers which have not been fitted, it has an upgraded exhaust system and turbo blow off valve, silicone pipework and some cosmetic additions like a boot delay on the gearstick.

The alloys have been curved and will need refurbing.

While the car has been parked up it has been hit by a neighbour causing a dent in the passenger front quarter as pictured.

The battery has ran flat but the car starts with a jump easily enough.

When it was running correctly it's the best car experience I've ever had and if I had the money and time I'd be keeping it but it's time to let it go.
