Applications:

It is employed during engine rebuilds or whenever the crankshaft seal or worn sleeve needs replacement, found near or within engine service tool kits. This tool is required to ensure that the crankshaft seals and sleeves are installed correctly and efficiently, minimizing downtime, and preventing engine oil leakage.
 
The Seal Installer Tool is used in the rear trunnion support of the oscillating axle and helps to install the crankshaft rear seal and helps ensure the oil seal is properly aligned and seated squarely in the axle housing bore or other mounting location. Misalignment can cause leaks or uneven seal wear.
