Sehr alte Henkel Karaffe aus himbeerenfarbenem Glas mit Emailmalerei und Goldverzierung. Bauchige Form mit hochgezogenem schlankem Hals. Plastisch gearbeiteter Henkel mit goldene Schlange. Umlaufende Dekor am Bauch stark abgerieben genau so wie ein enliche Dekor am Hals. Goldene Schlange hat Risse (s.Foto) und ein Sprung unter große goldene Ring. Nach innen gewölbte Boden mit abgeschlagenem und geschliefenem Abriss. Trotz der oben aufgeführten Beschädigungen sieht die Karaffe sehr dekorativ aus und könnte eine Bereicherung für jede Sammlung sein.

Very old Henkel carafe made of raspberry-colored glass with

enamel painting and gold decoration. Bulbous shape with a

slender, upturned neck. Three-dimensional handle with a

golden snake. The decoration around the body is heavily worn,

as is a similar decoration on the neck. The golden snake has

cracks (see photo) and a break beneath the large golden ring.

The concave base has a chipped and ground-down edge.

Despite the damage described above, the carafe is very

decorative and could be a valuable addition to any collection.
