A timeless meeting of two jazz giants, Thelonious Monk with John Coltrane captures the legendary 1957 sessions that helped define modern jazz. Monk’s angular piano phrasing and harmonic daring meet Coltrane’s searching, expressive tenor lines in a set that remains essential to bop and post‑bop history. This 2020 red‑vinyl reissue presents the classic studio recordings in pristine, factory‑sealed condition — a standout collector’s pressing for jazz enthusiasts and vinyl archivists.
