A beautifully intimate spoken‑word project from Lana Del Rey, Violet Bent Backwards Over The Grass blends poetry, ambient soundscapes and subtle musical textures. Her readings are warm, reflective and cinematic, accompanied by Jack Antonoff’s understated arrangements. This 2020 Polydor CD edition presents the full collection in a clean, atmospheric studio production.
