I purchased this at an antique shop in Vermont 12 years ago. I do not know when it was made, but my guess is mid to late 1800s. It is handmade and primitive. It is all solid wood. The footprint is 12” x 8.25” and the height is 10”. The door is 7.25” tall and 5” wide. The drawer is 6.75” long and 1.25” high. I believe it might have been made for a child as a toy. The individual pieces are nailed (some are cut nails) together. May be one of a kind as I could not find another online and I frequent antique shops and have never seen another.
I do the best I can to honestly describe what I sell and am happy to answer questions and/or send additional photos if you wish.
Thank you for looking and I hope you are having a great day!
