This is an AMAZING VINTAGE set of hand carved Indian Sheesham wood coasters with bone inlay and a hand carved Sheesham wood trivet with metal and brass inlay.  This is a set of coasters with a trivet that is meant to hold the bottle or pitcher of whatever is being served.  These coasters and trivet were hand carved in India during the 1950s/1960s, and have outlasted the tests of time.  The coasters are carved in a geometric pattern with a star in the center made of inlaid pieces of bone.  The trivet is carved with a leaf and floral pattern and has a brass tulip flower and and wire stem inlaid in the center.  The trivet is about 6 inches in diameter and the coasters are about 3.5 inches in diameter.  The set is BEAUTIFUL, and SUPER MCM!  They are in VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION!  There are no chips, cracks, major scratches, discoloration or stains.  There is a little bit of wear to a couple of the coasters (see photos).
