This Denon AVR‑1804 AV Surround Receiver is a solid, well‑regarded home theatre receiver designed for immersive 6.1‑channel surround sound. Denon receivers from this era are known for their reliability and warm, balanced sound, making them a good choice for movie and music setups using traditional analogue and digital sources. This unit has been tested, however it has not been completely tested across every input and mode, which should be kept in mind when purchasing second‑hand electronics.

Cosmetically, the receiver shows expected signs of use and handling, including light marks on the casing (see photos).
