The diaries of  Conrad William Eden Cathedral Organist Wells & Durham  1905-95
He was a recorded organist and quite well known in his time. He even has his own Wikipedia page! 

The years included are : 1929, 1930-31, 32, 33, 3436, 37, 1952. Tucked into these diaries are ephemera including newspaper clippings and an invoice from a jewellers.
I also have 5 of his music books relating to recording to his organ in the cathedrals. A comprehensive picture of this man's life.
