Houséd in a compact green purse with a metal kiss-lock frame, the case is embossed in gold with the hotel’s crest and name — a small but evocative piece of classic California hospitality history.
Inside, the kit remains remarkably complete, still holding its original sewing essentials arranged in a velvet-lined interior: miniature scissors, thread cards in assorted colors, buttons, a packet of needles labeled “Finest Needles Sharps,” a small ruler gauge, and additional sewing notions secured beneath a clear protective cover.
