  • The Super Design Ending-Man BS-500 AS, more commonly known as the Terminator 2, is a hardware clone of the Nintendo Entertainment System / Family Computer. It was sold across Eastern Europe, including Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Albania, as well as in India and Hungary (where it was known as “Nintendo” and used yellow cartridges). It was also sold in Spain and Italy, where it was marketed as “Top Console.”

    History

    This Nintendo clone became very popular in countries such as Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland, Serbia, India, Iran, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, gaining cult status and remaining widely available on auction websites and flea markets.

    Due to economic constraints, fourth-generation consoles like the Sega Mega Drive and Super Nintendo Entertainment System were less common in these regions. As a result, 8-bit systems—especially the Terminator 2—remained dominant.

    The console left a strong mark on 1990s youth culture, becoming closely associated with 8-bit gaming in these regions, sometimes even more popular than the original system.
