Important Care & Seasoning Instructions

This is an authentic cast iron product. To prevent rust and ensure a non-stick surface, please follow these steps before first use:

1) Initial Wash: Wash with warm water and mild detergent; dry immediately.

2) Heat & Salt: Heat the pot on the stove with 10–18 oz of salt for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the surface turns light gray.

3) Oil Seasoning: Once cooled and rinsed, dry thoroughly on the stove and coat the entire surface (inside and out) with a thin layer of vegetable oil.

4) Daily Care: Never put in the dishwasher. Do not store food inside. Always wipe dry and store in a dry place after each use.
