A large antique Indian pillar candle sconce, reclaimed wood taken an old Haveli column head. Finished in a distressed red and green colour palette. 

Sourced from Rajasthan, constructed from the tropical hardwood teak, this architecturally salvaged antique pillar head would have once embellished the exterior of an old Haveli, a rich merchant's home. In fact it may well have played a vital role in keeping the fabric of the house standing.

Now repurposed as a candle sconce and finished in a distressed red and green colour palette, it's not just functional, it makes a great decorative statement, indoors or out.  

Age related chip to one corner, wooden surface lightly waxed. Please look carefully at the photographs as they form part of the description.
