These transfer-printed lids were originally used on pots containing products such as anchovy paste,fish paste,& other goods during the Victorian period - now highly collectable for both display and interior styling.

The piece displays strong colour retention and a lovely original sheen, making it an attractive example for collectors or decorative use.
