Kerinci Coffee (Coffea sp.) is an Arabica coffee (Coffea arabica) originating from the Kerinci region and known for its clean and well structured cup character.  The coffee cherries are round to slightly oval and turn bright red when fully ripe.  The beans are medium sized with good density and a fairly uniform shape.  The flavor profile commonly shows balanced sweetness with notes of chocolate, mild citrus, and subtle herbal nuances.  Acidity is medium and smooth, providing clarity without sharpness.  The aroma is clean with light floral tones combined with soft earthy impressions.  Body is medium with a rounded and comfortable mouthfeel.  The overall flavor expression is tidy and consistent.  The aftertaste is clean and moderately long with gentle sweetness and light chocolate notes.
