This large salt glaze stoneware. flask was made circa 1837 , there are no makers marks , possibly Derbyshire .
It was made to commemorate the succession of Queen Victoria in 1837 .
It  is decorated with moulded named portraits of Queen Victoria and her mother the Duchess of Kent , and bears their names below .
It stands at 10 3/4" high and measures 4 3/4" wide .
There is a flat chip on the edge of the base and a fine crack on one side shown by the arrows .
There is a glaze flaw on the side of Queen Victoria from when it was made .
