Two original railroad industry magazines from the pre-war steam and streamliner era: Railway Mechanical Engineer (June 1937) and Locomotive Engineers Journal (May 1938). Both publications are filled with period photography, technical articles, and extensive industrial advertising related to locomotives, railroad operations, and mechanical engineering.

These issues showcase classic steam locomotives, early streamlined designs, and trade advertisements from major manufacturers, making them highly collectible for railroad historians, engineers, and ephemera collectors.

Condition: General handling wear with edge wear, corner creasing, and some staining. The May 1938 issue shows heavier wear and staining to the covers and pages. Both remain intact and complete.

A great pair of authentic pre-WWII railroad publications with strong visual and historical appeal.
