This ESP built Edwards E-SUFFER-R is the signature model of Yoshimitsu Taki from the awesome alternative rock/hardcore band 9mm Parabellum Bullet. This unique guitar brilliantly blurs the line between a Strat and Super Strat, with it's HSS and 22 fret layout giving you the iconic Strat 4th position tone and the versatile Dimarzio Tone Zone Humbucker in the bridge that's fit for many styles.
As well as it's ESP build quality, it has a hardtail bridge with a string thru body, bone nut, Sperzel locking tuners, factory fitted ESP (ES-1G) singe coils in the middle and bridge. It has a 5-way selector and master volume/tone controls, great for not whacking the volume knob like on a normal three pot Strat. The neck is a satin maple with a 648mm scale length featuring the 'CT' system. The CT System features a unique, angled headstock designed to provide even tension from the nut to the tuning pegs. Rosewood fingerboard with rolled fret edges.
Edwards Guitars are ESP's domestic market brand, and not usually found for sale outside of Japan. I purchased this guitar from Japan September before last and had it set-up professionally at Peach Guitars on my return. It has not been gigged by me but cannot speak for previous owners and has mostly been eye candy since I've owned it. It has light swirling and playwear but it in excellent condition for a gloss piano black guitar of it's age.
The neck and frets are in great condition, with negligible fret wear and smooth fret ends, the guitar plays fantastically well. This guitar was an impulse buy as I'm a big fan of the band, Made-In-Japan guitars and it's such a unique but classy Strat type, however I am moving and need to downsize, will be sad to see it go but it deserves to be used to it's full potential.
Please do message if you need any more info, I'm happy to help. Have sold many guitars through eBay with great feedback.
