Synopsis:

In this issue, Batman and Commissioner Gordon investigate the peculiar death of a man found floating in Gotham River - his skin discolored and covered in boils from a mysterious poisonous dust. The trail leads to the return of one of Batman's oldest enemies: Doctor Death, a Golden Age supervillain making his first Silver and Bronze Age reappearance, now operating under his true name of Dr. Karl Hellfern and using a society party as cover for his schemes. The issue also advances the ongoing soap opera subplots of Gerry Conway's run, with Dick Grayson and the mysterious Dala, Vicki Vale jostling for Bruce Wayne's attention, and Lucius Fox managing the Wayne Foundation - while a back-up story follows Catwoman on a separate case involving the same underworld Falstaff connection. The Gene Colan art brings a shadowy, atmospheric quality perfectly suited to Doctor Death's macabre experiments.

Shipping:

Unless noted, raw comics ship individually bagged and boarded. Up to 6 Standard 32 page comics (3 Oversize) will be packed in a magazine bag, sandwiched with cardboard and shipped in a rigid mailer. Orders of over 6 Standard or 3 Oversize comics will be packed securely and ship boxed. There is a limit of 2 Standard with 2 Oversize comic books to a mailer.
