Up for sale is an incredible find.  This is a one of a kind photo album from 1909. These are all original 3.5" x 5.5" photos. These come from an estate of a local furniture manufacturing magnate. In 1909 they took Clark's Cruise around the world. They visited Italy, India, Egypt, Ceylon, Burma, Java, Borneo, The Philippines, China, Japan, and finished in Hawaii and California. There are 400 photos. Ranging from photos of the SS Cleveland where they started, through the great pyramids of Egypt, India, photos with Natives in Borneo and Java. Through Hong Kong canals and execution streets. To Tokyo, Yokohama, Kamakura in Japan. The photos are all original. It seems the Cruise had a photographer on board to take photos of tourists. Im not sure who the photographer was. But these photos are all annotated where and what the photos are. This Cruise cost the bare minimum of $25,000 per person in today's money. Very very cool antique photos! There are 2 total photo albums, each containing 25 pages of photos with 8 photos per page (4 on front, 4 on back). If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at any time!
