Rules for use:

1. avoid prolonged direct contact of the cape with sources of heat radiation (human body, equipment, machinery, etc.);
2. take into account the time for the outer layer to adapt to the ambient temperature (for example, when moving from heat to cold, the cape must cool down);
3. "Break the silhouette" during use. Avoid creating artificial rectangular shapes or shapes with straight lines.

4. make sure there is a layer of air between the cape and the object being protected. This significantly improves the effectiveness of thermal masking and allows you to extend the duration of masking the object;
5. do not cover open sources of fire, even if there is a large gap between the fire and the awning;
6. protect from cuts, friction, punctures;
to fix the cape, use only standard eyelets, do not cut additional holes in it, do not pull on sharp pins, sticks, stakes, etc.;
7. avoid contamination with active chemicals (acids, alkalis, solvents). Do not wash the cape in washing machines;
8. do not use the cape as a bag, stretcher.

Real protection from drones with thermal imagers, like a poncho = worn on yourself, or pulled as a screen in front, like a roof on top. >

150cm X 250cm (120cm = perfectly covers the legs from below)

Attention! this is not an invisible cloak, but rather protection from a thermal imager. Which hides the temperature. Modern thermals have 4 modes, and can simultaneously apply to the screen both PNB waves and thermals and... Then all the trees and stones are visible on the screen.
Therefore, task #1 = blur the silhouette of the human torso. And this poncho also copes with this task.

That is, do not expect that the silhouette of the poncho will not be visible at all (look at the last photos). There will be no thermal glow of the human body, secondly = the silhouette of the body will be hidden in the landscape. three balls are not tightly connected + the design of the poncho itself provides air movement).
Therefore, the design is not fitted like clothing, but like a poncho.

* full protection from rain;

* eyelets on the corners = can be stretched and fixed as a screen from above/vertically, etc.;

* original cartoon ornament = perfect camouflage for spring, summer, autumn;

* strong to tear. Unlike ordinary foil, which climbs along the seams;

* takes up little space when folded;

* several ponchos can be connected along the edge into one awning (last photo)

Disadvantages = there is a little noise from friction.

Optimal protection from drones with thermals for sentries, as a protective screen for overnight stays, PPD, etc.

Be sure to wear this poncho = over your helmet and body armor.
